The Team Behind Somnium
Since 2016, our team has crafted quality bespoke water features across England. Somnium is a family run business, focussed on bringing our clients' vision to life.
The head of Somnium, Richard has always been a lover of nature. After years of creating ponds and features for himself and friends, he decided to turn his passion into a business.
Now for 7 years, Richard has been constructing features professionally, creating the highest quality bespoke water features ranging from wildlife ponds to more modern, innovative designs.
Lynne has been the backbone of the Somnium team for years. She works rigorously behind the scenes, eusuring Somnium runs smoothly.
Ben started working with water features at 16. For 2 years, while finishing school, he would work on-site at weekends and gained a breadth of knowledge from working with Richard, equipping him well when he began working for Somnium full-time at 18.
Now, 4 years on from when he started, Ben has gained much of his father's expertise, and has taken on the same perfectionist attitude. Both practical and technical, Ben is a valued member of the team at Somnium.
Conor joined Somnium at the beginning of 2022 and has quickly become an integral part of the team with a passion for executing each project to our exacting standards.
Our newest member, Willow, is the first canine to join Somnium. Starting life in Greece, she came to the UK at 6 months old, in 2021, where she was introduced to the team. From the moment we met her, we knew we had a member for life.
